Camping in Dorset
Friday 5th April to Sunday 23rd September 2019
Come camping at Graston Copse Holiday Park and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Dorset countryside which will surround you. The Camping fields at Graston are spacious and peaceful, for a truly memorable Camping holiday in Dorset. The Park is set in over 3 acres of landscaped grounds next to the meandering River Bride, farmland and countryside.
Away from light pollution, the Park is a great place for stargazing holidays and you can see the Milkyway with your own eyes on clear nights from March to October. On the Park there is a beautiful riverside walk that connects up to a woodland walk and an enclosed dog exercising area. There is an abundance of nature on the Park and we have received the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award for the work we do with nature and the environment. See if you can find out very own ‘Bug Hotel’ hidden away in the woods on the Park.
We have a choice of Grass Electric Pitches and non-electric pitches in the main area of the Park with adjacent parking spaces. There is also a separate meadow that is used for non-electric Camping only. The shower and toilet block is a short walk and the facilities are free with hairdryers, a freezer for ice blocks, a washing up area and a laundry room (charges apply).
WIFI is available at an extra charge. Please ask at the small Reception building when you arrive to check in

1 mile walk to Beach
There is a footpath from the Park into the village of Burton Bradstock, which is a 10 to 15 minute walk alongside the River Bride. In the village you will find two excellent village pubs with great reputations, local ales and delicious homecooked food – The Three Horseshoes and The Anchor Inn. There is also a post office / farm shop and a convenience store. Once a tightly knit community of farmers, fishermen, net makers and flax spinners, the village has retained much of its character and 16th / 17th century cottages. A further 15 minute walk from the village is Burton Beach (a National Trust estate) with the award-winning Hive Beach Cafe and Seaside Boarding House Restaurant. Here you can see the towering golden cliffs that are featured in ITV’s drama Broadchurch as well as picking up a number of walks on the South West Coast Path to West Bay or West Bexington. From the village you can catch the X53 Jurassic Coaster bus almost anywhere along the Jurassic Coast.
